Principal James has more than 23 years of education experience, working in various leadership roles, including Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and classroom teacher for Texas public school districts. Principal James earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration. She holds certifications in Mathematics 1-8, Generalist 1-8, English as a Second Language EC- 4, and a Principal’s Certification EC-12. Most recently, Principal James has served as an Associate Principal at ILTexas Windmill Lakes K-8 for the past four years. Embodying a growth mindset while serving others has driven her to be impactful in every area of her life. When people ask Principal James to describe herself, she does not hesitate to state she is a driven individual who humbly leads others with confidence while managing her work and personal life with care. Principal Ebony will be an exceptional addition to our ILTexas Pearland K-8 Family, and she cannot wait to serve students while providing exceptional trilingual leadership education to families in Pearland, Texas.
